Revitalise with Fitness4Less Gym

24th August 2019

Earlier this year, in its “Revitalise” campaign, the gym chain Fitness4Less* appealed for people who felt they would benefit from personal training to transform some aspect of their lives, whether physically or mentally. In return for a month’s free personal training, they were encouraged to share their experiences on Facebook and Instagram and via vlogs and blogs on the company’s website www.fitness4less.co.uk

The response was overwhelming, with applicants mentioning everything from needing help in managing serious medical conditions, to lack of body confidence, wanting to be a role model for their children or a desire to look their best on their wedding day, as reasons why they deserved to be chosen to join the scheme.

All participants in this Revitalise campaign and their followers got a real insight into the reality and transformative potential of personal training. For example, just two weeks into his training with PT Liam Cole at Fitness4Less Cambridge Heath, 38-year-old Clive, weighing over 21 stones and with a family history of heart problems, had already lost 9lbs and couldn’t be more positive about the possibility of reaching his ideal weight and eventually being able to come off medication to reduce his high blood pressure.

Because of the success of the campaign, Fitness4Less has decided to team up with its charity, Friends of Fitness, to offer a helping hand to some more deserving people. These will be chosen from those original applicants that missed out the first time round, who will be given a chance to be mentored by some of the gyms’ professional PTs for two sessions a week over six weeks in July and August. Again, their progress and feedback will feature on the main social media platforms to educate and inspire others.

Campaigns like Revitalise with its offer of free personal training reflect the ethos of Fitness4Less and its associate charity, Friends of Fitness. That is to offer professionally run, high quality, accessible gym facilities at an affordable cost, reinvest any profits into the facility and to reach out in a friendly and non-intimidating way to a wide demographic in the local community, helping people of all ages and fitness levels to get active, stay healthy and transform their lives.
